Ibanez RG1070PBZ Charcoal Black Burst Guitar Review

Coming from the RG line, this premium Ibanez RG1070PBZ Charcoal Black Burst 6-string guitar offers the same comfort and convenience as its 7-string counterpart, but the inclusion of the True Velvet middle pickup gives this guitar richer dynamics and deep tones. The Edge-Zero II provides top of the industry tuning stability, precise intonation adjustments, and unbeatable comfort.

This guitar features a solid body shape made out of American basswood, a top constructed from 7mm poplar burl, and exotic natural binding which aids in tying it all together into one beautiful guitar body.  The 11-piece Wizard neck is made out of Wenge, maple, Purpleheart, and Bubinga wood, with a 25.5” scale and a radius of 15.7”. The wide design provides professional stability, stiffness, and grip comfort. The neck is adorned with a stylishly luminescent side dot inlay, and Mother-of-Pearl offset dots inlayed on the fingerboard. Also on the fingerboard, are the jumbo stainless steel frets with a comfort minded, premium treatment on the frets’ edges. The headstock features Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads that fortify the guitar’s reliability and convenience by anchoring the strings in place and making string replacements simple and clean.

The Ibanez RG1070PBZ Charcoal Black Burst comes with all of the same game-changing design elements as its 7-string cousin, but with a slightly different sound.
