Winter NAMM 2019 unveiled quite a few new offerings this year. Most notably, the collective collaboration between Ibanez and Vemuram and their release of the TSV808 Overdrive Pro, which combines a Tube Screamer and Jan Ray. This pedal features the signature mid boost of the Tube Screamer with the dynamics and frequency response of the Vemuram Jan Ray pedal. It is also 7dB louder than the normal Tube Screamer. If you have a love-hate relationship with your TS as I do, you will probably appreciate the extra oomph.

Combining the best of both worlds, this new half-breed pedal features a brass enclosure which Vemuram is known for as well as its quad-layered PCB. The tinted green finish on the outside of the unit is also a tip of the hat to Ibanez and its history. The Japanese manufacturer is set for a June release and limited edition run (400 in US) of these pedals.
